Colombia’s competition regulator SIC has invited top-level government officials and international academics and regulators to participate in the Fourth International Congress for Free Competition, a two- day event discussing matters of trade efficiency and financial competition.
The event, to be held on November 17 and 18, will be attended by OECD competition expert Antonio Capobianco, who will present a keynote speech on best practices in public tender design, drawing on his experiences with the organization.
Also attending will be noted academic and businesswoman María Claudia Lacouture, minister for Trade, Industry and Tourism, with the aim of laying out a route towards a more modern and competitive country.
