CCI eyes coordination between state-owned oil marketing companies

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is eyeing recent price coordination by state-owned oil marketing companies. The three companies are Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum. The CCI has observed that in the past, the companies had staggered changes to fuel prices. Yet lately, the price revisions have been implemented by the companies on the same day.
