Antitrust Authority considers possible orders for Nesher’s special deals in cement industry

The Israel Antitrust Authority is investigating special deals offered by Nesher to certain preferred customers. Nesher is Israel’s sole cement producer and an officially-recognized monoply.

    David Gilo, the antitrust commissioner, has told Nesher that possible remedial orders may be that Nesher must stop offering preferential terms to only some of its customers, or that Nesher must publish its cement prices and delivery terms for all customers.
