Matthews Law is a specialist competition law firm, providing economic law issues. This includes competition law (antitrust), consumer law, regulation, trade and policy. Andrew assists client' in developing competitive strategies and influencing policy settings. Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) matters are also a focus. Andrew Matthews has acted on over 25 successful merger clearances and authorisations in New Zealand, as well as clearances from regulators in the EU and UK.
