Emanuele is a Research Fellow at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and a Qualified Legal Trainee at the Italian Competition Authority. His research focuses on data governance, particularly the complementarity between data legislation and competition law through the lens of experimentalist governance. He received his Ph.D. from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in 2025. During his doctoral studies, he was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School and Sciences Po Law School. He has also held research positions at the Italian Companies and Stock Exchange Commission and the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition
