John Roberti leads Allen & Overy's Washington, DC antitrust practice and is a member of the firm’s investigations and litigation practice. John focuses on civil antitrust litigation and investigations. He provides strategic guidance to clients on all issues relating to antitrust, and represents companies in court and before the agencies in their most important matters. John is an alumnus of the US FTC, and provides clients with insight into the workings of the FTC and the US DOJ antitrust division. He represents clients in all aspects of government investigations and private antitrust litigation, and has guided clients through complex merger and civil investigations involving a wide range of intricate legal issues. John has also handled high-profile trials and litigation, in both private practice and during his tenure with the FTC, and represents clients in high-stakes class action litigation. He has particular experience in defending civil cartel cases.
