Professor at the Law Faculty of Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, Germany.
My focus is on commercial law, namely antitrust and related matters of energy regulation. Since 2009 I have held the Chair in Private Law, Commercial Law, Competition and Insurance Law, and I am one of the directors of the Tübingen Research Institute on the Determinants of Economic Activity (TRIDEA).
In my research I look into the role of competition for the individual and the achievement of societal goals.
