Venetia is Counsel in Dentons' London office. She is a member of the Regulation & Investigations practice group, with extensive expertise in all aspects of retail financial services regulation. Venetia has a broad range of experience and detailed understanding of FCA regulation derived from nine years at the FCA drafting and advising on regulation, making her particularly well placed to advise on a wide spectrum of regulatory issues. She has a particular focus on insurance regulation, consumer finance, redress issues and the application of the Consumer Duty. Venetia has been involved in some of the most significant regulatory change projects in recent years, including drafting of the Consumer Duty and the FCA's work on general insurance pricing practices.
