Wei Han

Dr. Wei Han is a Lecturer at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in China. In the past few years, he has published one monograph on merger remedies (Study of Merger Remedies, China Law Press, 2013), four books as editor-in-chief (Competition Policy of OECD, New Antitrust Rules of US and EU, Competition Policy of WIPO, and Competition Policy in Digital Market, all by China Law Press), and more than fifty papers related to various competition law issues. He is also the chief of some competition law research programs funded by Chinese national foundations. Dr. Han worked temporarily in the antimonopoly bureaus of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), and the Sate Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), where he participated in legislation and policy research projects, in particular the MOFCOM regulation on merger remedies and the SAIC IPR Regulation. Dr. Han received his Bachelor of Law and Master of Law degrees from Southwest University of Political Science and Law and his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Dr. Han was a postdoctoral fellow of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China.
