The concerns to protect EU’s technology has intensified to a state where the European Commission has acknowledged its relevance. Some Foreign Direct Investment rules to restrict the acquisition of EU critical assets have come into effect. In addition, Member States have been encouraged to adopt measures to protect their 5G networks.
