Debevoise Nabs Antitrust Pro In Frankfurt

Debevoise & Plimpton announced that Sergej Bräuer has joined the firm’s Frankfurt office as an international counsel in the Antitrust & Competition Group. 

In this role, Mr. Bräuer will advise the firm’s clients on antitrust and competition matters, including coordinating merger approvals and obtaining clearance for complex merger investigations before the European Commission and German competition authorities.

Mr. Bräuer brings to the firm deep experience advising national and international clients on all aspects of German and EU antitrust law, including in cartel damages cases, merger control proceedings, antitrust proceedings, and compliance management.

Prior to joining Debevoise, Mr. Bräuer worked at another international law firm. Earlier in his career, he spent more than ten years at one of Germany’s leading domestic law firms.
