Spain’s antitrust regulator, the Comision Nacional de la Competencia, has fined Endesa 23 million euros (approximately $30 million) for abuses of its dominant market position. Endesa is Spain’s largest electric utility company. The CNC found that Endesa used privileged client information to bid on grid connection contracts; it also found that Endesa charged clients for work that Spanish law requires the company to pay.
