Germany: Clearance of acquisition of ESW GasVertrieb GmbH/Enovos Deutschland AG
The Bundeskartellamt has cleared plans by Enovos Deutschland AG (Enovos Deutschland), to acquire ESW GasVertrieb GmbH (ESW Gasvertrieb). Although the authority applied its previous definitions for network-based markets, it could not be established that the merger would create or strengthen a dominant position on these markets.
