India: CCI investigates gas company for dominance abuse

The Competition Commission of India has allegedly opened up an investigation into Adani Gas for alleged abuse of dominance in line with recent reports that India’s antitrust regulators were to crack down on the gas market. The Faridabad Industries Associations had filed initial complaints that have now lead to an investigation; specifically, FIA complained that Adani placed “unilateral and lopsided” terms in its Gas Sales Agreements that affected its buyers.
