
Laura Lariu has been announced as a new partner at the law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in New York. Previously, she served as the general counsel of Relativity Space, a rocket builder.
Nikita Shah and Alexandra Wood have been hired by the firm in San Francisco to expand their technology companies group. As partners, they will offer advice to startups and high-growth tech and life sciences companies.

Over the past two months, several lawyers have joined Orrick, a San Francisco-founded firm, as confirmed by a spokesperson for Orrick.
Lariu, who was the first lawyer hired at Relativity, led an 11-person legal team at the company. She played a key role in raising $1.3 billion from investors over the past few years. Prior to her time at Relativity, Lariu served as general counsel at Hyperloop One.
