
Sidley is pleased to announce that Carrie Mahan has joined the firm’s Antitrust and Consumer Protection practice in Washington, D.C. Ms. Mahan joins Sidley from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP where she was an antitrust litigator as well as a corporate counselor and risk advisor. She is ranked in Chambers USA as a DC Antitrust: Litigation Specialist and was included in the highly selective Global Competition Review on its “Women of Antitrust 2021” list.
As one of the world’s accomplished leaders in antitrust and competition law, Ms. Mahan advises global companies on antitrust and consumer protection issues in both government investigations by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Department of Justice (DOJ), and State Attorneys General and in private litigation in state and federal courts around the country. With a particular focus on nationwide antitrust class actions, she has led joint defense groups and the overall strategy on seminal cases across multiple sectors, including consumer products, hospitality, and private equity.
