Google Threatens Groupon, Makes Google Offers Available To More Users

Google has expanded its Google Offers service to anyone using Google’s upgraded AdWords dashboard, reports Business Insider.
The move could pose a serious threat to Groupon, which used to buy adds on Google and persuade consumers to sign up for email newsletters. Google offered to buy Groupon for $6 billion in 2010, but the daily deals company instead went public in mid-2012.
