The Fancy, the online eCommerce portal that advertises itself as part store, part blog, part bookmarking tool and part magazine, announced on July 8 that it had raised $53 million in new funding, Bloomberg reported.
The capital came from high-profile investors such Hollywood A-lister Will Smith, billionaire Len Blavatnik and global financial services provider American Express, sources told the media outlet. The investors were not named in the company’s regulatory filing.
With this new funding round, the company is now valued at $600 million.
