LevelUp has integrated its QR code-based payments system with ShopKeep’s iPad POS, the two companies have announced. While LevelUp can provide its merchant partners with their own POS system, the deal allows merchants with existing ShopKeep infrastructure to accept LevelUp payments, notes Mobile Payments Today. ShopKeep POS consolidates the LevelUp transactions with all other transaction information into one simple report that can be accessed anywhere, according to Finextra. “Merchants benefit from LevelUp’s 0% payment processing fees, and can participate in loyalty programs to retain customers,” the site reported.

“The mobile payment industry is poised for tremendous growth,” said ShopKeep POS founder and CEO Jason Richelson in a statement. “We are dedicated to making business processes simple for our merchants and always aim to offer them the latest tools in the market. LevelUp shares our sensibility and we are thrilled to work with them.”
