Kirkland & Ellis announced that Andrea Agathoklis Murino has joined the Firm as a partner in the Antitrust & Competition Group. Ms. Murino will be based in the Firm’s Washington, DC, office.
“Andrea is a talented antitrust attorney and leader in the legal community with an impressive record representing clients in successful clearances for proposed transactions, merger litigation and other antitrust and competition matters,” said Jon A. Ballis, Chairman of Kirkland’s Executive Committee. “Her arrival bolsters our strong antitrust team, and will help us continue to meet clients’ needs for sophisticated competition counsel on their complex mergers and acquisitions.”
Ms. Murino has private and public sector experience securing clearances for proposed transactions before the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice, the US Federal Trade Commission, state attorneys general, and international competition law enforcement agencies.
