UK-based law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has reportedly appointed a new co-head of its antitrust, competition and trade practice following the resignation of former head John Davies, who stepped down to work as a fulltime partner at the firm.
According to reports, competition chief David Broomhall took over as co-ACT head on Friday, the first of November, alongside current co-head Martin Klusmann.
Broomhall has spent eight years as head of the Brussels competition practice, during which he acted as office chief. That role will now go to Thomas Janssens, reports say.
