Namibia: Property firms earn clearance to join forces

The Namibian Competition Commission announced its approval for property firms Oryx Properties and Gustav Voigts Centre to merger, say reports.

    Oryx will acquire Gustav Voigts from its current owner, Growthpoint Properties.

    The parties first announced last August plans to merger. Following regulatory clearance, Oryx will now obtain thousands of square meters of hotel and retail space around the country.
