The recruitment of this prominent team marks a significant step in AG’s ongoing expansion efforts in Europe. AG initially entered the German legal market in 2019 with the establishment of an office in Hamburg. Since then, the firm has experienced substantial growth, with its Germany team now comprising nearly 50 lawyers spread across four locations.

Boris Scholtka, Dr. Laurenz Keller-Herder, and Karl Holtkamp, along with two associates, will be based in AG’s new Berlin office. This expansion in Berlin follows the recent addition of Kristina Baurschmidt, a real estate lawyer, as the first partner in the Berlin office in May. Eric Glattfeld will join the AG team in Munich, where the firm expanded its presence in 2022. The remaining associate will contribute to AG’s operations in Hamburg. Additionally, AG extended its reach in Germany by opening an office in Frankfurt last year.

Commenting on the latest hires, a spokesperson from AG stated, “We are delighted to welcome the team to Addleshaw Goddard and to grow the energy practice in Germany, which is strategically important for our firm.
