The probe is prompted by a complaint filed by Alter Mútua de Previsió Social dels Avocats de Catalunya a Prima Fixa. Alter Mutua alleges that Mutualidad General de la Abogacía blocked the spread of information about Alter Mutua as an alterative to the Special Social Security Scheme for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) in Spain. It is further claimed that Mutualidad General de la Abogacía refused to allow members to switch to Alter Mutua.
