Dewey’s antitrust partners Jeffrey Kessler, A. Paul Victor, Peter Crowther leave for Winston & Strawn
Prominent antitrust and sports law attorney Jeffrey L. Kessler is leaving Dewey LeBoeuf for Winston & Strawn. Although partners have been departing from the embattled law firm in a steady stream since the beginning of the year, Kessler’s move is notable because he is the firm’s head of litigation and a member of Dewey’s office of the chairman. Furthermore, Kessler publicly advocated the controversial contract system of compensation that set Dewey apart from other law firms.
About 60 other Dewey lawyers are also moving to Winston & Strawn, including antitrust and competition notables A. Paul Victor, the Co-Chair of the Global Antitrust Practice Group, and Peter Crowther.
