E.U.: Electricity company pushes for quick EC resolution on its antitrust investigation

CEZ group, a European integrated electricity conglomerate, expects that the European Commission (EC) reach a conclusion within 2 months, regarding the Company’s proposal to sell as many as five coal-fired plants by the end of the year. The EC had probed the company for allegedly engaging in anti-competitive practices. The company hopes that its proposal will end the EC’s antitrust probe.
