Israel: After $15M buy, ad platform Airpush poised for own acquisition

 |  March 4, 2014

Mobile advertising platform Airpush recently finalized a $15 million purchase, but the California company is poised to be acquired itself.

Israel-based software firm Perion is rumored to be seeking a deal for $170 million, though the financial terms were not disclosed and are not confirmed.

Perion’s buyout would also follow a recent merger with Conduit, say reports; Conduit once held the top position in Israel’s Internet industry.

Prion’s reported plans would not come as a surprise as the company confirmed it will look to boost revenue through mergers and acquisitions “in the mobile and advertising spaces,” according to its CEO Josef Mandelbaum.
