Malaysia: MyCC finds flower association in violation of raising flower prices

The Malaysia Competition Commission has announced its final decision against the Cameron Highlands Floriculturist Association, finding that the CHFA was in violation of antitrust laws. The final decision is in-line with its earlier decision from last October, finding that the Association colluded to fix prices and raise the cost of flowers by 10 percent. But according to the MyCC, while the decision is upheld, the body did not uphold an earlier decision to fine the CHFA. The CHFA has two weeks to decide whether it would like to contest the charges.
