Motorola Mobility cannot enforce injunction while Apple appeal pending

 |  February 27, 2012

Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court has ruled that Motorola Mobility cannot enforce a patent verdict while Apple’s appeal is pending. The verdict had forced Apple to remove some iPad and iPhone models from its German online store. Apple has since revised its agreement to offer licensing under FRAND terms. The court ruled that if Motorola Mobility does not accept Apple’s new offer, it would violate antitrust duties.
