Nigeria prepares antitrust and consumer protection bill

The Federal Government of Nigeria is preparing a new antitrust and consumer protection bill. The National Council on Privatisation has drafted the legislation, which will be submitted to the Federal Executive Council. Nigeria’s government hopes that antitrust laws and regulation will help make the country more appealing to investors, as it will bring the nation in line with global standards.
