    The Federal Trade Commission has dismissed its complaint against OSF Healthcare’s proposed acquisition of Rockford Health, as OSF no longer plans to by Rockford. The FTC’s November 2011 complaint had alleged that the deal would lead to diminished competition in general acute-care inpatient services and primary care physician services in Rockford. The acquisition would have concentrated the market in two hospitals: OSF and SwedishAmerican Health System.
