Oxera announces the appointment of Dr. Philipp Schliffke, Anna Maria Ruhr-Doose and Sina Rummelhagen who join in Hamburg from the firm Hamburg Economics.
Dr. Philipp Schliffke joins Oxera as a Partner to lead the team in Hamburg as part of Oxera’s expanding presence in Germany.
Philipp is a National Leader in Germany for Competition Economists, as recommended by Who’s Who Legal for 2023. He studied economics at the University of Hamburg where he subsequently taught competition economics to undergraduate students. Following the completion of his doctorate in evolutionary game theory and experimental economics, he joined an economic consulting firm in 2012. Philipp further gained extensive experience advising in antitrust proceedings during his time as Managing Director at Hamburg Economics, which he co-founded in 2017.
Joining Philipp at Oxera’s new office in Hamburg are his colleagues from Hamburg Economics, experienced economists Anna Maria Ruhr-Doose and Sina Rummelhagen.
Anna studied at Philipps-Universität Marburg before starting her career in economic consulting in 2007. Anna is a founding member of Hamburg Economics where she held a managerial position since 2017. Most recently, Anna has advised on antitrust proceedings in a range of sectors as well as being an expert in mergers.
