In the 19th meeting of competition think tank the Competition Consultative Group, members of the group, set up by the Competition Commission of Pakistan, applauded the competition regulator for recent activity. The Group was first established by the CCP to receive feedback and commentary in various goings-on. Senior officials from the CCP attended the event, including Chairperson Rahat Kaunain Hassan, who headed the meeting, as well as CCP Senior Member Dr. Joseph Wilson, among others. Of the highlights, the chairperson reportedly highlighted the completion of the peer-review of Competition Law and Policy in Pakistan, finalized at the 13th annual session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy, held in Switzerland.
