Pembina Pipeline gets clearance from Competition Bureau for Provident acquisition
Pembina Pipeline and Provident Energy have announced that they have received clearance from the Competition Bureau for Pembina’s proposed acquisition of Provident. Pembina transports crude oil and natural gas liquids produced in western Canada. Provident owns and manages natural gas liquids infrastructure and logistics. The deal calls for Pembina acquiring all of Provident’s issued and outstanding common shares through a plan of arrangement to create an integrated company.
