    Soy importers in Indonesia are under investigation by the country’s competition watchdog in response to rising prices in the sector. A staple in the local diet, soy prices have risen nearly fifty percent recently, causing the government to end a tax on soy importation. Last week the country’s tofu producers protested the high prices by shutting down production for three days.
