Three Star Alliance programs get draft authorization

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has issued a draft decision proposing to authorize Star Alliance programs for eight years. The programs are Corporate Plus, Conventions Plus and Meetings Plus; authorization for the first two was set to expire on August 9, 2012. The programs allow Star Alliance members to offer corporate and conference consumers discounts on fares and rates.
