US: CAT, Komatsu, Volvo slapped with antitrust suit

 |  February 2, 2015

International Construction Products (ICP) has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Caterpillar, Komatsu and Volvo, accusing them of collusion and unfair competition by excluding ICP from the US market by “effectively dismantling its primary distribution channel: online sales,”.

ICP is seeking both compensatory and punitive monetary damages as well as a court order to unwind the IronPlanet/Cat Auction Services merger.
