A former litigator for the Federal Trade Commission has been hired by Haynes and Boone, the law firm announced Wednesday.
Thomas Lang will join the firm as partner at its Antitrust and Competition Practice group, bringing to Haynes and Boone his expertise in antitrust and merger litigation.
His experience includes cases of monopolization, price-fixing, intellectual property-related competition matters, and more. He has worked on cases involving the FTC and Department of Justice.
Lang served as senior litigation counsel at the FTC’s Bureau of Competition from 2006 to 2008, say reports, where he worked on several significant merger challenges, including the FTC’s suits against Whole Foods Markets and Inova Health Systems.
