US: Ramirez, Baer to stand as witnesses at first Senate Antitrust Subcommittee oversight hearing

Chair of the Senate Antitrust Subcommittee Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) has announce that Federal Trade Commission Chairwoman Edith Ramirez and head of the Department of Justice Antitrust Division William Baer are set as witnesses for the subcommittee’s first oversight hearing of the new Congress. According to reports, the purpose of the hearing is to gather insight from the regulators on promoting healthy and cracking down on antitrust violations.
