Best Buy has announced that it will make its holiday price matching policy a permanent, year-round fixture in order to combat showrooming, reports Bloomberg.
“We are going to a low-price guarantee,” said Matt Furman, a spokesperson for Best Buy. “There is no doubt that this new policy ends showrooming for Best Buy customers.”
The company is also reducing its merchandise return policy from 30 days to 15 days. It’s an interesting move after the company lost $65,000 in one day over the holidays.
