UK: New CMA seeks new tech officer ahead of next month’s launch

As the UK’s new Competition and Markets Authority gears up to begin operations next month, reports say the watchdog is still seeking a chief technology officer.

    According to reports, the CTO is just one of several senior rolls yet to be filled by the regulator.

    The new CMA will combine the Office of Fair Trading and the Competition Commission. According to an announcement by the authority, the CMA will look to establish itself as a “pioneer” in the use of technology with the new CTO appointment.
