    The Fair Trade Commission and the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office are collaborating on the case regarding allegations that various contracts for snow-melting projects were unfairly awarded.

    Details on the investigation remain scarce, but reports say the companies searched included Takasago Thermal Engineering, Asahi Kogyosha, Shin Nippon Air Technologies, Dai-Den and others.
