A press release announced Thursday that antitrust lawyer William Kolasky will join Washington, D.C. law firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed. Kolasky joins the firm from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, at which he served as the head of its antitrust practice group. Kolasky’s resume includes more than 100 mergers and acquisitions and has represented clients in investigations before both the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division as well as the Federal Trade Commission. He has also served at the DOJ’s antitrust division as deputy assistant attorney general.
