Slovakia: TV operator wins buyout clearance

The proposed buyout of DIGI Slovakia by telecommunications operator Slovak Telekom was cleared by the Slovak Antitrust Office, say reports. The deal will reportedly allow Slovak Telekom to strengthen its position in the television services market. The deal was finalized last May after several months of deliberations; 100 percent of DIGI will fall under Slovak Telekom’s control, say reports.
