China: Apple goes on defense – again – in Siri patent suit

Soon after news emerged that Apple Inc. offices were raided by antitrust regulators in France, reports say Apple is again on the defense with a new lawsuit filed against the tech giant by voice application developer Zhizhen Network Technology. Zhizhen accuses Apple of infringing on its voice recognition Xiao i Robot program with the use of Siri, which comes on iPhones of the 4S model and higher. In a statement, a legal representative for the China-based company said Apple will be asked to stop the sale and manufacturing of products as soon as the company confirms that its patent is being improperly used by Apple.
