Mexico: Construction giant ICA sells highway stake to Goldman Sachs

Mexico’s largest construction and infrastructure conglomerate has agreed to sell its stake in the owner of more than 420 miles of highway. According to a press release, Empresas ICA will sell its 18.7 percent stake to Goldman Sachs funds; ICA expects about $378 million for the transaction; further, the company will continue to operate the roadways. The deal, initiated last year, is subject to approval by Mexico’s Ministry of Communications as well as the Federal Competition Commission.
