US: Former FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz announces new job

Jon Leibowitz, the former Chairman of the US Federal Trade Commission, will be joining Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. The firm announced the news early Tuesday. According to a press release, Leibowitz will become an addition to the firm’s antitrust team to enhance what Leibowitz described as “one of America’s great law firms.” Leibowitz served as Chairman between 2009 and 2013. He was also an FTC commissioner from 2004 to 2009. Leibowitz will be at the firm’s Washington, DC office.
