EU: Commission reveals raids at sugar producers

The European Commission’s antitrust head Juaquin Almunia announced that the regulator carried out dawn raids at various sugar producers. While the companies raided were not named, Almunia said various inspections took place “in several Member States” of the European Union. The raids took place last month. No other information was given.
