U.S.: FTC Chairman comments on California gas spikes

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has released a statement regarding the recent spike in gasoline prices in California. Jon Leibowitz, the Chairman of the FTC said that the FTC was fully aware of the recent spikes in California, and it will remain committed to ensuring competitive energy markets, and will remain vigilant against manipulation practices.
