Competition Commission issues Proposed Infringement Decision for two ferry operators

The Competition Commission of Singapore has issued a Proposed Infringement Decision (PID) against two ferry operators. The CCS accuses Batam Fast Ferry and Penguin Ferry Services of breaching the Competition Act for exchanging confidential price information on ferry tickets for routes between Singapore and Batam. Before the CCS reaches a final decision, the PID affords the ferry companies the opportunity to submit arguments by April 23.
